College Matriculation Reports
Many high schools have indicated that the college matriculation reports prepared by PEJE are useful during the student recruitment process. Knowing that graduates have many placement options after day school is a key factor for some families as they weigh their options in selecting a high school.
Please note that these are "matriculation" reports not "acceptance" reports. They are lists of colleges and universities where day school graduates have actually enrolled--or have committed to enroll--sometimes after a brief deferral. We have chosen to document actual matriculation to avoid misleading information when students receive multiple acceptances; also, the accuracy of matriculation data is more easily verified.
We heartily thank the many schools that submitted this information, and we invite all high schools that want their school's 2007 matriculation information to be shared on the PEJE website to contact Bonnie Hausman. Note: If your school has submitted these data as part of the PEJE Day School Peer Yardstick, please understand that this information cannot be shared publicly unless you expressly request that we do so. Finally, we are proud that Jewish high schools--including very newly-established schools--have demonstrated such a remarkable record. We proudly share this information in the hope that the information will aid your recruitment efforts.
